  History of kennel

Dear Friends,

We got interested in the Japanese Chins in 1989. At that time it was a very rare breed in this country with only a few purebred dogs (with complete pedigrees). Our kennel was registered in the FCI in 1998.

We brought a beautiful white and black bitch Mitsunja to St Petersburg. Unlike many other Chins she had a very typical head, a straight back line and she was also very small (23 cm). Her movements were so gracious and light that the judges could not help giving her the top awards at the shows.

"Mitsunja" won BOB titles at many shows

This wonderful Chin was an excellent bitch, and usually she gave us 3-5 puppies in each litter.

She became the foundation bitch of our kennel in St Petersburg, and her daughters, granddaughters and great-granddaughters are also perfect mothers. They free whelp their puppies and carry all the typical breed features.

A few years later we were lucky to buy a dog who was white and red, and at that time it was quite an uncommon colour in this country. In St Petersburg it was probably the only one white and red male without black markings.

Champion of Russia and Belarus Sindzju Delight

This colour is highly praised both here and in Europe. Moreover, this dog carries unique blood lines. He is a purebred English dog with his roots going to the famous Denstone kennel from England. He is a typical sample of line breeding without a sign of the potpourri that one can so often see in the pedigrees of many other dogs. He has excellent genotype and fenotype, and breeding with him improves the breed in 100% of the cases. This perfect stud dog soon started to produce show class Chins with stable psyche and superb appearance. All his children and grandchildren can easily be recognized as his puppies, and they keep winning the top awards at the most prestigious shows in Russia and abroad.

Sindzju Delight produces such wonderful puppies with different bitches, and some of them only had to be bred to him for these great results. The same bitches from other kennels were bred to other dogs in the hope of having puppies of the same quality, but all those attempts inevitably ended in failure. Now we use his children and grandchildren for line breeding in order to stabilize our achievements and move on to even better results.

At present we are co-operating with other kennels from abroad and working on our own pure breeding line. We do not breed for quantity, all our matings are carefully planned with all pros and contras taken into consideration. We are also active in the show ring, and we keep in touch with both small and professional kennels and admirers of our wonderful breed. We work a lot on pre-show training and handling, and we are always happy to hear from our new friends and colleagues. Please feel free to contact us!
